Key Responsibilities: - Perform blood collection and preparation procedures following established protocols. - Conduct blood tests and analyses to ensure accurate results. - Maintain and operate laboratory equipment, ensuring they are calibrated and in proper working order. - Adhere to safety and hygiene standards in the lab and during blood handling procedures. - Assist in the management of blood inventory, including labeling, storage, and documentation. - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret test results and provide necessary support. - Participate in quality control and assurance measures, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. - Keep accurate records of all laboratory activities and report any discrepancies. - Stay updated with advancements in laboratory technology and blood bank practices. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field. - Proven experience as a Medical Lab Technician, specifically in a blood bank setting. - Familiarity with laboratory equipment and safety protocols. - Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. - Valid certification/licensure as required in Dubai.
